Business & IT Projekt-, Programm- and Projektportfolio-Management/ M&A/ Finance

I am a Senior Project Manager and Management Consultant with wide experience in various industries mainly in the Financial Industry. I have a proven track record of delivering end-to-end international IT and Business projects, programs, and project portfolios. My benchmark is the Anglo-Saxon understanding of good customer service i.e. Customer-First. I am open-minded and flexible to manage projects in any location of the world on-site or remotely. In the last years I was working in various Banking divisions like Finance, Treasury, Asset Management, Securities Settlement, Global Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Private Banking, Private and Business Clients, Global Transaction Banking, Global Programme Management, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Global Technology, HR, Sourcing etc. by covering project roles as Project, Program, Project Portfolio Manager, as well as Business Analyst, Coordinator and Adviser. Further I have experience in the Heavy Industry, Construction Industry and in Pharmacy. I was involved into various global integration, migration, rollout, and outsourcing initiatives throughout the complete project lifecycle from due diligence over Change of Control (CoC) to project closure, covering business, applications, and IT infrastructure tasks. Further I have profound knowledge of Finance, Treasury, Banking, Securities Settlement (bonds, stocks, derivates, commodities), portfolio theory, Structured Finance, Mergers & Acquisition (M&A), Disinvestments, Integration and Outsourcing as well IT. Upon completion as a certified Banking Officer (Bankkaufmann) in 1989, I graduated with an MBA (Dipl. Kfm.) in Corporate Finance and Banking & Stock Exchanges alongside my job at Commerzbank’s Global Operations and Settlement division. I have worked for more than a quarter of a century in the Banking Industry managing mainly projects, programs or project portfolios which included business and technology changes with budgets up to 20 Mio EUR and 100 project staff. I can cope under pressure with strong prioritization, time management as well as good communication skills. Further I have a wide experience in international environments, in the design and optimization of business processes and a good understanding of cultural differences in various countries and their impact on managing projects, as well as in-depth knowledge of program management methods, PRINCE 2 and MS Project. Bridging the gap between IT and business is one of my strengths. I am a German based LCC (Limited Company Contractor) and opt-out of EAA regulations.
